Snakes Alive! An Update From Carriage House Samplings!

There's a new resident at our house. The girls named him Tangled since he wrapped himself up in one of our deer-proof garden cages. (We're surrounded by a herd of 30 deer). Tim came to his rescue and we saw him alive and well the next day!

And here's Tim building another garden cage... This one has chicken wire, so it won't be a threat to Tangled or any other snake!

As soon as this is done, Tim will be back to charting the antique Angess Rowlander sampler in his spare time.... Tim (a CPA) needed a break from his computer since he just survived another income tax season.

Also, Carriage House will be releasing a new design in a few weeks called "The Tree Speaks" inspired by a poem that my father-in-law sent to me... Joanne Ambrose did a great job stitching it!

And I'm saving the best news for last: 11 out of 12 blocks of a NEW Hawk Run Hollow are designed! We're very excited about how it's coming together!!

  1. Aww, that poor thing...so glad you rescued him instead of disposing of him like so many others would have.

Can't wait to see the new sampler that Joanne stitched for you...she does the most beautiful job of stitching, doesn't she??!!

    Happy Stitchin'

  2. Yes, Joanne's work is so impressive!!

  3. Oh c'est un serpent ?
